Weight Loss is Hard

Can I just say that losing weight is so HARD? Especially when you’re old like me. Young people, I urge you to take good care of your body while you’re young so that it’s not such a struggle when you get old.  Today at the gym I was on the dreaded StairMaster. I seriously have a love/hate relationship with that thing. I love what it has done for my cardiovascular system. I’m in way better shape now than when I was just running/jogging. A couple of months ago my husband and I ran on the road that we live on. We walk this road almost daily. It’s a gravel road. Since I’m a “city girl,” it has taken me some time to get used to the gravel. At first my ankles were week. I have been running for a few years now, but I always ran on cement, or a treadmill. This was completely different...
